Patient is a mother that was concerned about her abdominal appearance and despite good diet and exercise was unable to achieve her goals. We felt she was an excellent candidate for a Lipoabdominoplasty where Dr. Levesque would remove excess skin and stretch marks, tighten the abdominal muscles and repair the rectus disastasis developed from pregnancy, and remove excess fat from the abdomen and flanks in a single procedure. The procedure was performed as an outpatient using early recovery after surgery protocols and our patient had a smooth recovery. She is shown 6 months after her surgery with improvements in the flanks, abdomen, hips and overall tight appearance of the abdomen. The scar is still considered early and will continue to heal and fade over the next year.
