Our patient sought breast enhancement while preserving a natural look, feeling her breasts were out of proportion to her body. Upon examination, we identified signs of tuberous or constricted breasts, including a short nipple-to-fold measurement, tight lower pole, and narrow breast tissue compared to her chest dimensions.
To meet her goals, we employed advanced techniques such as 3D Vectra simulation for precise visualization. Despite her unique anatomy, we opted for a larger implant size to achieve better balance, selecting a moderate profile implant for a wide and tall round shape.
Utilizing a subfascial pocket placement allowed for maximal redistribution of breast tissue. Despite the high risk, we intentionally lowered the fold by 1.5 cm to address her concerns. Meticulous surgical techniques, including strategic incision placement and tissue release, ensured successful breast expansion. Various suturing methods were used to control the new crease location, ensuring optimal outcomes.
The result? Remarkable enhancement in breast aesthetics, maintaining a natural look. Opting for a subfascial pocket minimized implant movement, vital for our active patient.
