Our patient, in excellent health and shape, desired breast enlargement proportional to her build. Through in-person examination and 3D Vectra analysis, we determined the ideal implant size to fulfill her goals. Opting for a 425cc moderate profile implant from Sientra, we chose an inframammary fold incision and sub glandular placement.
The chosen incision offers the lowest rates of complications, while sub glandular placement was suitable due to her adequate breast tissue, allowing for seamless implant concealment. With sufficient breast tissue and quality skin, her breasts were well-equipped to support the implant.
In the early post-op period, she showcases a fantastic, balanced result that complements her chest. Concealed scars and absence of complications attest to the success of the roughly 1-hour procedure conducted at an accredited surgical center. Our implementation of early recovery after surgery protocols ensures a swift return to normal activities. When available sub glandular or subfascial placement of implants helps avoids animation deformity of the implants and at least in my practice has not led to capsular contracture. We also utilize maximal no touch techniques to minimize the risk of capsular contracture such as insertion devices, antibiotic and betadine irrigations,
For those in Austin seeking breast implants or breast augmentation, our practice is committed to delivering tailored solutions and exemplary outcomes.
