Removal of breast implants and breast lift with Dr. Levesque in Austin, TX

Our patient had saline breast implants for many years and presented with complaints of back, neck pain, and being larger than she desired now. We met with the patient and recommended removal of her breast implants with restoration of the pectoralis muscle and a breast lift. Given she had saline implants we performed an in office deflation procedure to better plan for the procedure and allow the patient to determine if she had sufficient volume naturally or a smaller implant would be needed. The in office deflation also allowed recovery of the breast tissues and skin with mild tightening of the skin envelop and resulting in less need for scars along the inframammary fold. Removal of her under the muscle implants were performed and a vertical breast lift with lollipop scar was used to achieve lifting and reduction in volume and also decrease the areolar size. Her scars will continue to fade with time and she has improved proportions and relief of back and neck pain.
