Breast reduction in 30's year old female in Austin Texas with Dr. Levesque

Our patient is a healthy woman in her 30s who had been struggling for years with back pain, neck pain, and difficulty exercising. She also faced challenges finding clothing that fit comfortably due to the size of her breasts. After a thorough in-person consultation, we determined she was an excellent candidate for breast reduction surgery to improve her quality of life and alleviate her symptoms. For her procedure, we chose to use a superior pedicle technique with a Wise pattern skin excision. This approach allows us to preserve the upper breast tissue for a more youthful shape while maintaining blood supply and sensation to the nipple. It also enables the removal of the heaviest tissue located along the inframammary fold, which contributes most to discomfort and sagging. The Wise pattern incision is especially effective for reshaping the breast. It not only removes excess skin but also allows us to elevate the nipple to a more natural, central position and reduce the size of the areola for balanced, aesthetically pleasing results. She is shown here just three months after surgery, and her results are already dramatic. While her scars are still pink at this stage, they will continue to fade over the next nine months and become much less noticeable.
