Breast Reduction using sculpted pillar technique with Dr. Levesque in Austin, Tx

Our patient is a young mom that developed breast enlargement after her pregnancy. She is very active and participates in coaching for cheer and was experiencing difficulty with back/neck pain, finding appropriate clothing, and exercising. After discussing her goals and an in depth examination with Vectra 3D simulation we felt she was an excellent candidate for a small breast reduction and lift. We performed a sculpted pillar breast reduction, which preserves the upper portion of the breast tissues and removes excess lower breast tissue while narrowing the breasts. The skin excess required an anchor type scar, or wise pattern, which is in the early stages of healing and will become more inconspicuous with time. The lift of the tissues and nipple position is apparent and decrease in areolar size all result in improvements of the overall breast. Her posture is also improved from removal of the excess breast tissue. The amount of breast tissue excised from each side was about 150 grams which is about a cup size.
