Breast Revision: Revision Lift, Implant Exchange, Internal Bra in Austin, Texas

Our patient had undergone two prior breast procedures, beginning with a breast augmentation followed by a revision and a breast lift performed by another surgeon. Unfortunately, she experienced noticeable asymmetry between her breasts, with the right side being smaller and indentations present on both vertical scars. Upon consultation with Dr. Levesque and a thorough analysis of her breasts, aided by 3D Vectra simulation, a comprehensive plan was devised. The strategy involved replacing her previous implants with newer gummy bear implants of slightly different sizes to address variations in projection and width. Specifically, a 545 cc Mentor Boost implant was used on the left, and a 580 cc implant on the right. To ensure long-term support and a more symmetric position for the implants, internal mesh support with OviTex PRS mesh was employed. Additionally, 200 cc of fat transfer to the breast tissue on each side was performed to soften the breasts and enhance overall symmetry. The early results are promising, demonstrating that with the right plan, even in challenging revision cases, we can assist our patient in moving closer to her aesthetic goals.
