Upper lid ptosis repair with upper lid blepharoplasty and lateral brow lift.

Our patient came in with a few areas of concern including feeling like she look tired. After discussing her aesthetic goals and doing a full facial analysis we identified a couple areas of concern to address with an in office procedure under local anesthesia. We determined she had a moderate amount of upper lid ptosis that was worse on the right than the left and the brow position especially in the lateral aspect was a little low. We also identified a longer upper lip distance than ideal and discussed a bull horn lip lift to better balance the perioral area. We performed upper lid blepharoplasty with ptosis repair using an open sky technique and tarsolevator advancement. We also performed a lateral brow lift sub periosteal through an incision behind the hairline. Finally we performed a bullhorn lip lift to shorten the upper lip skin and improve the perioral proportions. She is shown with disguised well healed scars and a natural result that complements her other features. We could certainly have done other procedures as well but these three smaller procedures synergistically result in a marked improvement with a short downtime.
