Local Anesthesia Deep Plane Face and Necklift with Fat Transfer in Austin Texas.

Our patient underwent a face and necklift procedure performed by a different surgeon 14 years ago. However, she no longer felt that her appearance matched how she felt on the inside. After discovering that we specialize in facelifts conducted under local anesthesia with minimal oral medications, she scheduled a consultation with us. During consultation, we took the time to thoroughly understand her aesthetic objectives. She was an excellent candidate for an in-office deep plane face and necklift with fat transfer. Our main goal was to achieve a moderate reversal of the aging process while avoiding an artificial or "operated on" appearance. The surgical procedure involved anterior deep neck contouring, which included the removal of subplatysmal fat and a platysmaplasty. Additionally, we performed vertically directed deep plane SMAS repositioning and lateral platysmaplasty.
