Our patient expressed concerns about signs of facial aging, particularly noticing laxity in the neck and lower half of the face. Additionally, she observed an increase in the length of her upper lip, coupled with early volume loss in various facial regions, including the medial cheek, piriform, ear lobes, orbital rim, and temples. To address these concerns, we performed a deep plane facelift with deep neck contouring and a lateral necklift, all conducted in the office under local anesthesia. Dr. Levesque specializes in performing this level of facelift under local anesthesia, along with a few oral medications, making him the exclusive plastic surgeon in Austin known for this approach. In addition to the facelift procedures, we incorporated fat grafting to multiple areas of the face. Simultaneously, we performed an upper lip lift, specifically employing the bullhorn lip lift technique. This added step acts as the finishing touch, subtly enhancing the perioral area and ensuring a harmonious match with the refreshed face and neck. The patient's early follow-up reveals well-healing scars that are anticipated to further improve over time.
