Open Rhinoplasty, dorsal hump reduction, refinement of nasal tip and rotation.

Our patient, a healthy young woman, sought improvement for several nasal concerns, including a dorsal hump, irregularity of the right sidewall likely due to past trauma, and a bulbous tip that didn't complement her slender features. Through a comprehensive examination and aided by advanced 3D Vectra imaging, we devised a personalized plan to address her aesthetic goals. The plan involved an open rhinoplasty procedure, utilizing a small incision in the columella (between the nostrils) extending internally for optimal visualization during surgery. During the procedure, we skillfully reduced the bone and cartilage responsible for the dorsal hump, reconstructed the middle vault using spreader flaps to enhance the nasal sidewall, and employed precise techniques to refine and rotate her nasal tip by removing lower lateral cartilage and utilizing suture techniques. The outcome is a refined, smaller nose that harmonizes beautifully with her already stunning facial features. We are thrilled with her results and grateful for the opportunity to have played a role in her transformation.
