Lumecca (Intense Pulse Light Therapy) in Austin Texas.

Our patient was concerned with uneven pigmentation in the face, age spots, and poor tone of the skin. We treated her with Lumecca (Intense Pulse Light or IPL) to improve smoothness of pigmentation, texture, and shine. After 1 session we can see her overall skin quality is improved. There is a nice glow to the skin and has a healthy appearance. The pigmentation of dyschromia is improved but more treatments are needed for a complete correction. With Asian type skin we need to go slower with out treatments to achieve the improvement needed without causing issues such as hypopigmentation or scarring.
