Botox & Dysport, done right
Botox and Dysport are the two most trusted wrinkle-relaxing injectables in the world. A few precise injections soften the forehead lines, frown lines ("11s"), and crow's feet that make you look tired or tense — while keeping your expression completely natural. They can also slim the jaw (masseter), ease TMJ tension, lift the brow, and more.
Both are botulinum toxin type A. Dysport tends to spread a little more and can act a bit faster, which is often ideal for the forehead; Botox stays slightly more localized. We choose the one that best fits your anatomy and goals — and we're precise about dose, because natural results come from restraint.
How neuromodulators work & how the brands compare →More than just forehead lines
Most people think of Botox and Dysport for the upper face — and that is where they shine — but a skilled injector can use them across the face and neck to soften lines, rebalance features, and even relieve tension. These are the areas we treat most often in Austin:
The horizontal lines that appear when you raise your brows. Softened carefully so the brow still moves naturally.
The vertical creases between the brows (glabella) that can read as anger or worry even when you feel fine.
The fine lines that fan out from the corners of the eyes when you smile or squint.
A few precise units can lift and open the brow for a more rested, awake look — a subtle, non-surgical alternative.
A tiny dose relaxes the upper lip to show a little more pink, or softens a high gum line when you smile.
The little wrinkles that crinkle across the bridge of the nose with certain expressions.
Treating the masseter muscles can slim a square jawline and ease clenching, grinding, and jaw tension.
Softening the platysmal bands of the neck ("Nefertiti lift") and smoothing a dimpled, "pebble" chin.
Botox is FDA-approved for underarm hyperhidrosis — noticeably reducing sweat for months at a time.
Not sure which areas would help most? That's exactly what your consultation is for — we'll look at how your face moves and recommend only what will make a natural difference.
A surgeon's understanding of your muscles
Your injections are performed by Dr. Andre Levesque, a board-certified plastic surgeon, or by Hilda Oropeza, Medical Assistant, whom he trained personally. Hilda assists Dr. Levesque in facelift surgery — seeing the exact facial muscles we target — so the person treating you understands the anatomy beneath your skin, not just a set of injection points. That's the difference between our injectables and a rotating med-spa injector.
The best tool for the right lines
Botox and Dysport work on dynamic wrinkles — the lines that appear when you move: frowning, raising your brows, squinting, smiling. By gently relaxing the muscles underneath, they smooth those lines and keep them from etching deeper over time. Many patients in their late 20s and 30s start early precisely for that reason — it's often called "prejuvenation," and small, consistent doses can slow the formation of permanent creases.
You're likely a good candidate if you're bothered by expression lines, want a natural refresh with no downtime, and are in general good health. It's an easy first step into aesthetic treatment because it's temporary — if you ever want to stop, your muscles simply return to how they were.
When something else may serve you better
Neuromodulators don't fill volume or resurface skin. If your main concern is a deep line that's visible even at rest, hollowing in the cheeks or under the eyes, or lax skin and jowls, a dermal filler, a resurfacing treatment like Morpheus8, or a surgical option such as a deep plane facelift may give you a more meaningful result. Often the answer is a thoughtful combination — and Dr. Levesque will tell you honestly what will and won't move the needle, even when that means recommending less.
Before & after
Curious how it actually unfolds? Dr. Levesque documented his own treatment day by day — watch the frown lines and forehead lines soften over the first nine days, with the natural, un-frozen result we aim for on every patient.
The best Botox and Dysport results look like nothing happened — just a smoother, more rested version of you. Browse real, unretouched before-and-after photos of Dr. Levesque's patients in our gallery.

Quick, comfortable, no downtime
The visit
We review your goals and map the muscles to treat. Treatment itself takes about 10–15 minutes using a very fine needle; most patients describe a slight pinch.
Right after
You can return to your day immediately. Avoid lying down or heavy exercise for a few hours and don't rub the treated areas. Bruising is uncommon.
Your results
Softening begins in 3–5 days, with full effect by 10–14 days, lasting about 3–4 months. We see you at two weeks to fine-tune if needed.
Transparent, per-unit pricing
Dysport is dosed differently than Botox (about 2.5–3 Dysport units per 1 Botox unit), so the per-treatment cost works out comparable. We walk through the number and quote it before we treat. See the full non-surgical price menu, or ask about Allē and ASPIRE rewards.
Real product, in trained hands
Botox and Dysport are FDA-approved forms of botulinum toxin type A with a long, well-studied safety record when they're genuine and injected correctly. Both of those conditions matter. We use only authentic product sourced directly from the manufacturers and stored properly — an important point in a market where counterfeit and mishandled "Botox" has shown up around Austin. When you're treated here, you know exactly what you're getting and who is giving it.
Side effects are usually minor and temporary — a small chance of bruising, redness, or a mild headache. Uncommon effects like a temporarily heavy eyelid or uneven brow are almost always the result of technique or product spread, and they resolve on their own; a surgeon's knowledge of the underlying muscles is your best protection against them.
Who should wait or avoid it
Botox and Dysport aren't recommended if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have certain neuromuscular conditions (such as myasthenia gravis or ALS) or a known allergy to the ingredients. Always tell us about your medications and health history at your visit — it takes two minutes and it keeps your treatment safe.
