Surgeon's Perspective

Dr. Levesque on the CO2 Laser Resurfacing

CO2 laser resurfacing is about skin quality — the fine lines, texture, and sun damage that surgery alone doesn't address. I use fractional settings with the PhantomClear laser to create controlled microthermal zones, stimulating new collagen while preserving surrounding skin for a faster recovery.

Around the mouth, where lines etch deepest, I treat a little more aggressively. I calibrate depth and density to each patient's skin type and available downtime.
