Medical weight loss is about metabolic health, not just the number on the scale. This patient did everything right — structured diet, CrossFit — yet her cholesterol and A1c were drifting and the weight would not budge.
A medically supervised semaglutide program got her to a healthy, sustainable weight and, importantly, normalized her labs. We then transition patients to a lower maintenance dose to hold the result long-term.
