Surgeon's Perspective

Dr. Levesque on the Breast Reduction

The sculpted-pillar technique is my go-to for a shapely reduction — it keeps the upper-pole tissue for fullness while removing the heavy lower tissue and narrowing the breast, so the result is lifted and proportioned rather than just smaller.

For an active patient coaching cheer, taking about a cup size off each side relieves the back and neck strain and makes exercise and clothing easier. The anchor scar is fresh now and will fade; you can already see her posture improve at three months.
