When someone has already had a breast lift and later loses volume — often after pregnancy — a well-chosen implant can restore fullness without starting over. She was thin, so upper-pole coverage mattered. I used a split-muscle technique: it tucks the top of the implant under the muscle for a smoother upper pole while leaving most of the muscle's function intact and limiting animation.
