Dr. Levesque on the Deep Plane Facelift
When the upper lip has lengthened along with lower-face and neck laxity, lifting the face without addressing the lip leaves the result unbalanced. Here a deep plane facelift with deep neck contouring was paired with fat grafting and a bullhorn lip lift.
The lip lift is the finishing touch — it shortens the elongated upper lip and restores a youthful proportion to the mouth so the whole face reads as refreshed and harmonious. Her early scars are healing well and will continue to improve.
