Surgeon's Perspective

Dr. Levesque on the Eyelid Lift

Lower-lid blepharoplasty in men is one of the more demanding eyelid procedures — you remove the fat that causes bags while keeping the lid position stable, especially in a patient with a negative vector.

A canthopexy with a muscle sling supports the lid so the eye shape stays natural. Done in-office under local anesthesia, the transcutaneous approach lets me address the fat pads directly.
